Although the pickup was first class it wasn't until we were on the way that I was told that my requested pick up for the return journey would not be possible at the time I had requested as this clashed with their school run commitments, as a result I had to pick up a local taxi costing me consierably more that if I had gone to another quote supplier from this site.
I will know to really push the question "can you deliver as per the request" in future.



I thank you for your response, but would like to correct one comment, the first I heard of the need to cancel the return journey once I was in the taxi, and was given the reason that my requested time would clash with your school runs, the offered time of after 9:00 would have been a problem for me as I have just started a new job & needed to get to work for 09:00. I wish your driver a full & speedy recovery.

The info about the extra cost was in fact supposed to let people know how competitive your prices are, and not be a negative comment, but in fact it was £7 more that your quote as it was "out of the Soton area" and included the dock entrance charge, so I guess I was ripped off by the taxi concerned. My loss & education.

Many thanks for your review as we value both positive and negative reviews so we can deal with them and try to solve the problems so that they do not happen again. We apologise for the return leg of your journey. We as a company advised you of the return leg difficulties due to the allocated driver being taken off sick for six weeks prior to your transfer. upon trying to locate another driver that would commit to the job we had great difficulty in actually getting another driver to say a definite yes. We took the decision to inform you that we would be half an hour late for the job and understood if this was not an option for you and accepted you could get another taxi at the port to save waiting. As regards the cost being a lot more we cannot understand this as we have today rang 4 drivers who work out of the docks and all have given us a price of the same as ours or the most expensive was £2.00 more than our fare.
As i said earlier in this message please accept our sincere apologies for your return journey but we took the decision to inform you of the problem instead of like some companies just letting you wait around and us turning up late for you.
Apart from this I hope yourself and party had a fabulous time on your cruise.

I used AWH Travel to take us to our Christmas Party and they did such a good job that I am now using them for all my taxi requirements. We have many trips during the course of the year to the airports and they are proving to be an excellent joice. Extremely courteous and efficient service. Collected two groups on time from different venues and delivered to the destination at the required time. Will be our preferred carrier in future.
